Inspiration Monday: Share Your Good News

I've been a bit overwhelmed this past week and need some good news to get me motivated. Nothing like having to finish up taxes when your manuscript, a new idea, and a busted stove are calling your name.  And the last thing you want to do is go through old receipts and financial records.  This year, I vow to organize as everything comes in.  Really.

Does anyone have any good news?  Anyone?  Please share!

No overwhelmingly good news, but we are having nice weather here. And we'll be mailing the invitations to my son's First Communion party today (one thing off the to do list.)

Chris,
The nice weather helps, doesn't it? The kids have a half day of school today, so we've planned lots of outdoor fun. Have a great day!

I quit my day job this past Friday. Yesterday was my first day as an official "writer". Did I write? No, not until the normal after bed writing time :)

Everything is bursting into bloom here and we have warm sunny weather. Nothing else seems to matter...

Hope you get some of this soon!

And congratulations pj hoover! Go 'head girl!

I survived my 9yr old's first sleepover party of four girls. They were so silly and bouncy that it felt like 9 girls at a 4yr old's first sleepover. At the time it was frustrating, annoying, and exhausting. With a couple of days rest, it seems pretty funny.

Oh, and my daughter loved her present. Yes, we're getting her a hamster like she has wanted for two years.

Wahoo! Love hearing this sort of news. Congrats!

MotherReader,
You are a brave woman. I haven't reached the hamster phase, but, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Happy Birthday to your daughter!

Cloudscome,
I loved the sonnet! You did such an awesome job!

Tricia,
Congrats! You must be so thrilled! I wish you many productive writing days and great success with your work. I can't wait to hear what happens.

My son's X-Ray came back "normal". A big sigh of relief being breathed here!

The Cole Mine,
So glad your little one is okay! Now go give him an extra hug and get some much deserved rest.

Hi, Vivian. I've been dealing with a fevered daughter this past week, and the good news is that she seems to be on the mend. Good news in my sector is that the little pepper and sunflower plant starts I put by my window are actually coming up! Truly, I was skeptical after the fiasco of the make-shift greenhouse (or "cold front") from IKEA.

It is sunny and warm out today. I went to a cool event at Lincoln Center earlier this week. Passover is this weekend. Then my best friend and I are going to a Pat Benatar concert on Sunday. (Yes, it's true!)

And congratulations, PJ, that is awesome!!!
